Reviews and Ratings <br />
The hotel had a great atmosphere with nice common spaces and a lovely restaurant, making it a wonderful place for a theatre festival in Kingston. However, the rooms were disappointing and in need of an upgrade, as they had stained carpets and droopy curtains. While the service was generally good, we did face some issues with room upgrades not meeting expectations and a long walk from our room to the lobby.
Our stay at the Ambassador was a mixed bag. The rooms were reasonable and clean, but the service left much to be desired, particularly during check-in. The location was convenient, but we found the dining experience disappointing with poor breakfast options. Overall, there were definitely some positives, but the negatives impacted our stay more than we had hoped.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated the clean and comfortable room. However, the noise from a hockey team made it challenging to relax, especially for my family with special needs. The dining experience was good but pricey, and I was disappointed that the pool was non-operational for a good part of my visit. Overall, it was a decent stay, with some aspects that could be improved.
I was really looking forward to staying at this resort, especially because of the water park, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. The facilities weren’t as advertised; several attractions were closed, and the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. On a brighter note, the location was nice and the staff were accommodating, but ultimately it didn't live up to expectations.
